friends at American Music Therapy Association, Inc. for the invitation
to perform at their 2012 Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference! We're grateful to our
volunteer musicians: MOM String Orchestra, Maestro Igor Sarmientos,
Jason Labrador of Labrador Entertainment (baritone), the
lovely Integriti Reeves of Afro-Blue, and the very fierce Warren Wolf on
keys! We also thank Jacob Berg for his arrangement of "Lullaby" as
performed by Jason Labrador and Jonathan Palevsky, Program Director of WBJC 91.5 FM. We had a ball and performed for our
largest audience to date -- over 650 listeners! |

A Benefit for Thrive City String Academy

Each summer, Thrive City String Academy molds inner-city music students into confident young performers. This benefit concert honored TCSA and its Executive Director John Littlejohn who traveled all the way from Vancouver, Canada to perform with us! With original music by Mr. Littlejohn himself, acclaimed New York-based violinist-arranger Juliette Jones, composer Vincent Gover, and alternative artists Mosno Al-Moseeki, Sahffi, Beau Soir Ensemble and William Soul, this was an evening to remember! |

Our efforts were recognized by Gabe O'Neill, President of Kids Are Heroes! KAH recognizes youth who make a
positive impact on their communities. MOM Orchestra showcased Young Artists Daniela Bahia (violin), Erika Koscho (violin) and Christina Paton (viola) during this year's Kids Are Heroes Day. Robin Fay Massie presented awards as an "adult
hero," an honor for which she is very grateful.

FIRN's 30th Anniversary Celebration: Empowering Survivors of Violent Crime |

This concert in support of FIRN — Howard County-based nonprofit organization — featured MOM's full orchestra and William Soul. FIRN
empowers immigrants, refugees, asylees and other foreign-borrn
individuals by helping them to access community resources and
opportunities. |
We appreciate pre-concert donations and will also accept donations upon admission!
Proceeds benefited FIRN's U-Visa program which assists victims of domestic violence and other violent crimes. Thanks for your support! |

A Benefit Concert for Japan's Disaster Relief

In a fundaiser to benefit the American Red Cross, NASA presented a program which included guest speakers from NASA, the Haitian Embassy, the American Red Cross, and a special performance by the MOM Orchestra which was joined by belly dancer Nina Amaya. |

This inaugural MOM concert was presented in honor of the victims of the earthquake disaster in Haiti. This full program included jazz, orchestral selections, chamber music. Proceeds were donated to Save the Children. |
